Today I am the Sun
You see, it is late Spring. Trees have flowered
and most have dropped their delicate petals to the
ground, or are having them torn free in the wind.
Then there is You. In late Spring.
You are a flower that has not yet opened.
Your petals are shyly starting to show
their lace, just barely peaking out.
Today I am the Sun.
Drawing you out, bringing you life and vigor
and color. Today you will fully blossom, and
you will be bright, vibrant, and beautiful.
For it is Spring, and I am with you.

Wow that is very beautiful. We are just starting the "real spring" weather here...I will think of your lovely words as I watch the tree blossoms open and the new flowers emerge from the ground... perfect piece
