Ever heard "The Darkness on the Edge of Town" by Bruce Springsteen?
It has to be one of his greatest songs, but it has new meaning for me now.
That stop light there, is literally "the edge of town," my new hometown. This is taken from the street at the edge of my driveway, the driveway of the very last house in town. This is my "Darkness on the Edge of Town" and it is quiet, it is peaceful, and at times a bit lonely. But it is mine.
